We are pleased to open the registration for OHCOW’s 2017 Migrant Farm Worker Health Forum
This forum provides a unique opportunity to come together, share best practices, and explore innovative ideas to improve the health of migrant farm workers across Ontario. This year we are excited to be partnering with Brock University, and hosting the forum in St. Catharines, in a region where the first migrant farm workers started to arrive under the SAWP program in 1966, and to where thousands continue to arrive every year.
We invite a diverse group of stakeholders to participate: community health staff, health care practitioners, program directors and coordinators, service providers, workers, community development and support organizations, public health professionals, embassy and ministry representatives, researchers and students. This year’s program includes more than 30 exciting presentations and collaborative sessions looking at key areas of migrant farm worker health, service program planning and delivery, and more. Please join us!
Dates: Friday April 21 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Saturday April, 22 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
Location: Academic South Building, Brock University, St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada
There is no registration fee for this forum, but registration is limited so please register early. If you are a speaker or presenter, you need to register as well.
