Migrant Farm Worker Health Forum 2019
The forum provides a unique opportunity to share best practices and explore innovative ideas to improve the health of migrant farm workers across Ontario. This year we are excited to be partnering with (and hosting at) University of Windsor, in a region where the first migrant farm workers started to arrive under the SAWP program in the sixties, and thousands continue to arrive every year.
We invite a diverse group of stakeholders to participate: community health staff, health care practitioners, program directors and coordinators, service providers, workers, community development and support organizations, public health professionals, embassy and ministry representatives, researchers and students. This year’s program includes more than 20 insightful presentations and collaborative sessions looking at key areas of migrant farm worker health, service program planning and delivery, and more. Please join us!
