A Message from Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers:
Thank you very much for your interest in the Hamilton Local Advisory Committee Winter Warm-up education and awareness session previously scheduled for February 10th, 2018.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen illness and injury affecting our speakers, compounded by a questionable weather forecast, this event has to be cancelled and we are unable to reschedule at this time.
However, there are a number of resources and events that we can still offer to support your understanding and prevention initiatives with respect to Workplace Mental Health WMH.
OHCOW is hosting a live half-day webinar on Wednesday, February 28th for RSI Day to which all our welcome. Topics include the new free StressAssess Survey tool and the impact of Stress and WMH on Ergonomics. Visit https://www.ohcow.on.ca/2018-rsi-day.html to sign-up and learn more.
And we will once again be holding a Mayday, Mayday Symposium on Workplace Mental Health and Harm Prevention on Tuesday, May 1st, which will be videotaped for future reference. Details will be posted on the OHCOW website in the next few weeks.
We also remind you of a number of OHCOW and Prevention System resources related to Workplace Mental Health:
And don’t hesitate to contact OHCOW by emailing ask@ohcow.on.ca with inquiries or requests for assistance. We are here to help!
Thanks again. Have a safe and healthy weekend.
