Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSIs) also know as musculoskeletal disorders (MDSs) are injuries of the ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves that affect 2.3 million Canadians each year. A large proportion of these injuries are are caused by work-related activities thus limiting the ability to perform daily activities. RSI's can develop through repetitive, forceful or awkward movements.
