Hamilton Clinic

South Central Region

The first of OHCOW’s province wide clinics was opened in 1989 in Hamilton to act as a resource to workers and employers. The mandate was to provide objective scientific information and focus on the prevention of occupational health problems in the workplace.

Just weeks after the 1989 opening of OHCOW Hamilton, a second OHCOW clinic was opened in Toronto. Several years later clinics opened in Sudbury and Windsor. OHCOW currently has clinics in Hamilton, Toronto, Windsor and Sarnia, Sudbury and Thunder Bay.

OHCOW Hamilton with our inter-disciplinary occupational health team of Occupational Physicians and Nurses, Ergonomist, Occupational Hygienists and Client Service Coordinators services a large catchment area from Niagara to Oakville, Hamilton to Kitchener, London and Owen Sound. We strive to build and maintain strong relationships with workers, unions, and wherever possible, with employers through joint health and safety committees, trades committees and health and safety representatives.
