The Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers (OHCOW) is pleased to announce that we will be hosting the 2017 Ontario Migrant Farm Worker Health Forum in partnership with Brock University and the Association of Ontario Health Centres (AOHC). The 2017 forum will take place at Brock University, St. Catharines, Ontario, from April 21-22nd 2017.

Last year’s forum was a great success, with attendees noting that it was informative, useful and innovative.  Based on participant feedback we are expanding the forum to one and a half days, with a  Friday afternoon start on April 21st ,  and a full day Saturday April 22nd .

With the goal of keeping the forum relevant we are calling for submissions for presentations, workshops as well as collaborative sessions. Submission details are attached along with the submission form. Help us make the 2017 forum even more successful , and help inform our collective work with migrant farm worker communities.

If you know of anyone working as a migrant farm worker who would be interested in presenting or participating at the forum but requires support (Travel expense coverage, bursaries or honorariums for lost work hours, event translators? Etc.) please let us know.
