Federico Arcos has been a volunteer for the Windsor clinic since opening in 1992, and has also been a volunteer for
the Windsor Occupational Health Information Service for more than 17 years. He is a retired Ford / Local 200 CAW member. He has also been instrumental in helping with many projects including our most recent Migrant Farm Worker project, which is ongoing in the Leamington area. He is a highly valued member of
our team.
Ivan Bauer is an Occupational Health Nurse at OHCOW with 10 years experience. He graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1993. He has worked at VON and Chrysler Canada in the first aid performing occupational nursing. He has taken correspondence courses from the University of Waterloo in Occupational Health. He has produced the fact sheet Pregnancy and Ergonomics and has been on various worksite assessments.
Kathy
Mayville
is a Client Service Coordinator at OHCOW Windsor. She is a Certified Medical Secretary/Medical Office Administrator. She has been
with OHCOW since February of 1993. During that time she has worked on several
research projects including gaming workers, Fiberglas and Holmes Foundry. Kathy
also was the Research Coordinator for the Lifetime Histories Breast Cancer
Project between 2003 and 2009.

Jeff Casey is an Ergonomist at OHCOW Windsor. He comes to us from a private consultancy in Windsor, where he worked mainly in the automotive sector. Prior to that, he was an Ergonomist at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board in Sudbury. Jeff earned his bachelor of human kinetics at the University of Windsor and his Master of Science, majoring in Occupational Ergonomics at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. He has been with OHCOW since March of 2005.
Joanne Husak is a temporary full time
Client Service Coordinator at OHCOW Windsor. She recently graduated from college with a diploma as a Medical Office Administrator. This is Joanne’s first position and has been with OHCOW since December 2004. Joanne has successfully completed the Workers Health & Safety Centre's “Level 1 Occupational Health and Safety Training” and will be taking “Level 2 Occupational Health and Safety Law” in October 2005 as well as “Making the Link Between Occupational Disease & the Workplace”.
James Miuccio is an Occupational Hygienist at OHCOW Windsor. He has a Master of Science in Occupational and Environmental Health Sciences with a specialization in Industrial Hygiene from Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan. He meets with patients for employment and exposure histories, performs worksite assessments and gives recommendations on hygiene issues. James previously worked in the medical field and has been with OHCOW Windsor since May of 2006.
Nicholas
Niforos is an Ergonomist at the OHCOW Windsor clinic. He is a graduate of the University of Windsor where he earned both his Bachelor and Master of Human Kinetics. Nicholas provides ergonomic consultation, responds to ergonomic inquiries and provides technical assistance with respect to workplace injury. Previous ergonomic work experience encompasses the automotive, office, and utility sectors. Nicholas has been with the OHCOW Windsor clinic since July of 2006.
Dr. Deborah Hellyer is a contract clinic physician. She received her training at the University of Western Ontario and is a specialist in Internal Medicine and Respiratory Diseases. Her main areas of interest include Occupational Lung Diseases, Cancer, Reproductive Health, Musculoskeletal Disease and Women’s Health Issues. She is active in the community including the following: Board of the District Health Council, Co-Chair of the Cancer Planning Committee, past President and Medical Advisor of the Essex County Lung Association, President of the Essex County Academy of Female Physicians and Board member of the Essex County Medical Society.
Mark
Parent is the Executive Director of
the Windsor Clinic. His interest in Health and
Safety in the workplace came from what he
experienced in the manufacturing sector when he
worked for Chryslers and General Motors (now
Lear Trim) for more than 27 years in
aggregate. He served as a CAW health and safety
representative during his work term at the Windsor
Lear Trim Plant. He co-authored the 1999 reports
that have been instrumental in securing millions
of dollars in compensation for Holmes Foundry
workers and families in Sarnia, Ontario. He has
been with OHCOW Windsor since 1999.
